AWCINSW Smart and Skilled

AWCINSW are pleased to advise members that we were recently notified of our successful submission to NSW Government to be eligible to provide training under the NSW Government Smart and Skilled program.

Smart and Skilled is a reform of the NSW vocational education and training system. The program is helping people get the skills they need to find a job and advance their careers.

Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with an entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III. in order to be eligible to provide training under Smart and Skilled, AWCINSW must be in a position to meet the criteria of the four key performance expectations, including but not limited to:
  • Quality of training and training staff
  • Ethics – including meeting public expectations and integrity
  • Accountability – including meeting all legislative (State and Federal) requirements and the provision of, timely accurate and complete student progress reporting
  • Responsiveness – engaging with industry and tailoring training to meet the student’s needs

We are pleased to have been awarded a position on the Smart and Skilled provider listing and we look forward to passing the continued benefit onto our students that choose AWCINSW as their training provider for Wall and Ceiling Linings.
